After such a lot of time, here we are another marmalade recipe. Thanks to my friends for the birthday present, a book full of homemade cook recipes, among which this for a delicious orange jam.
1 kg of sugar;
Cut with a potato peeler zest of two oranges and cut it into strips. Put them in a pot, cover with water and let boil until they will be soft.
Meanwhile, squeeze the juice of all the oranges and place in a pot with the sugar. Cook over medium heat for 40 minutes, then add the zest and continue for other 20 minutes.
Put the marmalade in sterilized jars and put under vacuum with the usual procedure.
Do not wait too long to cook it, winter is almost over and oranges should be in season ;).
